On Monday mornings, the famous fabric market on Westerstraat and the flea market at Noordermarkt come to life. Even closer are the Noorderspeeltuin and the one at Karthuizerplantsoen—both favorites. A skate park and the beautiful Westerpark are also within walking distance.
