The open-plan living and dining area is generously sized and offers enough space to enjoy dinnerparties with family and friends.The kitchen is located at the rear, connected openly to the living room. It is modern, equipped with built-in appliances, and provides direct access to the balcony.
The large bedroom has French doors opening onto the balcony and an en-suite bathroom (2019) with a shower and sink. The second full-sized bedroom also has French doors to the balcony and is currently used as a walk-in closet and home office, but can easily accommodate a double bed.
There is a separate toilet. The balcony spans the full width of the apartment and faces south, allowing you to enjoy the sun throughout the morning and afternoon.

Located on the beautiful, wide Rijpgracht canal, directly by the water, on a quiet side street between Willem de Zwijgerlaan and Admiraal de Ruijterweg, on the border of De Baarsjes and Bos en Lommer.Jan van Galenstraat is just around the corner, where you will find everything you need, including a supermarket, drugstore, florist, bakery, and cozy cafés such as Selma’s. In addition, you can reach Hugo de Grootplein and the Jordaan within a few minutes by bike. Various tram and bus connections are available via Willem de Zwijgerlaan and Admiraal de Ruijterweg. The apartment is also easily accessible by car via the A10 ring road.

'One of my favorite memories of this home are the quiet mornings, who could ever know an apartment in the city of Amsterdam could be so quiet? The canal of de Rijpgracht is simply the most pleasant one to live on. It’s quiet, the wide views are incredible and yes, there is always space to park. This home is a little oasis to decompress from the buzz of the city, even though you are only a 5 minute bike ride away from the Jordaan and the city centre. In spring and summer the big chestnut trees that are flanking the canal are the first thing you see when you pop out of your bedroom. For a moment it might feel like you live in a tiny patch of forest in the middle of a city. Light falls through the many windows and doors at any given moment, sunrise or sunset. I loved it when we opened all doors and windows in summer, so the wind could flow through nicely, even though it always stayed surprisingly cool in the house. This home really took us in for the time we got to live here. The energy in here is playful and very welcoming, every single person who visited the place felt welcome. We had countless dinners, laughs, created art, soaked up the sun. We let this home go with love, as it served us so incredibly well and we just know the next chapter will have just as much (if not more) of that goodness. Thank you de Rijpgracht.'
